Our Story – The Heart Behind Berridge Barn
The idea for Berridge Barn began to take shape in 2015, when my husband Brian and I were searching for the perfect place to get married. We toured several barns, and it quickly became clear just how high the demand for these beautiful, rustic venues was. Every venue we visited had only one or two dates available for the current and next year, which made us realize just how rare and special these venues were.
On the drive home from one of those tours, Brian and I started talking about the possibility of owning our own venue one day. We discussed what we would offer, and just as importantly, what we wouldn’t, based on our experiences at each place we visited. We were married in September of 2015, and life took us in a different direction as we started a family. But the dream of having our own barn venue never fully went away.
Then, in late 2018, Brian—who has a hidden talent for scouring Zillow—came across 8757 Berridge Rd. in Greenville. We made the drive from Grandville, and when we saw the barn and the stunning outdoor space, we knew this was the place we’d been dreaming of. The four-acre property sits perfectly next to a one-hundred-acre field, and it’s only a two-mile drive into town—making it the ideal combination of seclusion and accessibility.
What drew us most to the property was the picturesque barn and the endless possibilities it offered. In February 2019, we took a leap of faith, sold our house in Grandville, and made Greenville our new home. And that’s how Berridge Barn came to life—built from a dream, a love for beautiful spaces, and a desire to offer couples the perfect setting for their special day.
